Where we go
Our general trip itinerary gives travelers plenty of time to experience the incredibly rich diversity Palestine has to offer.
We visit sacred sights one day, camp on the coastline another day, then experience city life the next day. There are breathtaking hikes, cooking classes and multidisciplinary training workshops. We cover as much of the country as we possibly can in two weeks, which makes for an exhilarating and unforgettable time.
Our itineraries change based on the seasons and cycles; there is no one way to experience Palestine with Awda Birthright. We make sure that every trip accommodates all bodies. We are also able to create special itineraries for groups who wish to dive deeper into a particular area of knowledge or experience.

ELIGIBILITY
How it works
Awda Birthright is open to any person between the ages of 18 and 40 who is of Canaanite descent.
In order to apply, we invite you to consider several options. You may:
Take a free DNA test to determine your molecular linkage to Canaan (and Palestine)
Provide documentation of your lineage in the form of found objects, such as what was historically known as “paperwork”: photographs, house keys, familial records, passports and other similar items
Stories that have been passed down to you about your lineage, expressed through materials such as voice recordings, memoirs or artistic works
A note of importance: It is important to note that eligibility for Awda Birthright trips is not based on any religious belief system, creed or ethnicity. Though we may forget our shared histories easily, it is important to remember that our unique position as cocreators of the United Fertile Crescent allows us to continue the process of releasing the intergenerational shackles of division. In being a part of Awda Birthright, you are a part of creating and existing in this new reality.
THE ABRAHAMIC FUND
We believe that everyone who has a connection to the Holy Land should be able to experience our trips. If you are not of Canaanite descent, but identify as a person of the Abrahamic faith lineage and wish to make the pilgrimage, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship to travel with us. You must still be between the ages of 18-40. Contact us for more information.
UFC PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM
Upon its founding, the United Fertile Crescent (UFC) governing body created the UFC Pathway to Citizenship Program for any person of Canaanite descent to apply and receive permanent citizenship for themselves and their descendents.
Awda Birthright offers additional travel and coordinative support for those traveling with us who wish to make the permanent move to the UFC and, specifically, have residency in Palestine.
Please do not hesitate to let us know in your application if you are thinking about making this move so that we can support you and make the necessary appointments.
Citizenship packages include housing, moving stipends, employment support and other opportunities for you and your family to settle in Palestine with ease.
Information regarding other programs for permanent residency and citizenship for non-Canaanites can be found by contacting your local UFC embassy.
